2010 was definitely a year of many changes for me! A new career and a new lifestyle for starters. Here is a look back at some of the highlights that made 2010 a memorable year...
Mason and I kicked off 2010 at a friend's house party.
I started substitute teaching full-time. These were broke times for me as I transitioned into a new career in education.
In January, Mason caught the garter at our friend's Trevor & Jenn's wedding. A sign of things to come? Hopefully very soon! ;)
Dallas saw the most snow in it's history during February!! Burrrrr!
Went to New Orleans at the end of Feb. for Angie & Brady's wedding.
Pub crawls, more weddings, and lounging poolside filled my spring and summer days.
Mason and I celebrated 3 years of dating!
I started my very first year of teaching and learned to adjust my lifestyle for those early school mornings!
I entered my late 20's turning 26 in August! Yikes!
I spent Labor Day Weekend with some of my best friends in the world on the beaches of Tampa, FL!
TX/OU Weekend
A frigid family camping trip in South Texas during November. On this trip, Mason asked my dad for his blessing to marry me!!!
Mason turned 27!
A festive holiday season including a trip to the ICE Exhibit at the Gaylord Texan!
.....and the last big moment of 2010. I purchased, on my very own, a NEW CAR!!!! I had been driving the same car since I was 16 years old and finally took the plunge and upgraded to a 2010 Acura TSX! Love it! :) :)
Anyway, 2010 was pretty good to me! I am looking forward to seeing what is in store for me in 2011! I hope you all had a wonderful new year!!
